My Latest Songs

The Sophmore Moment

I am working on a brand new album that follows the summer release of my very first debut album, “Oh My Heart Strings!” This sophmore album also has the central focus of God’s Love, yet with the walk with Him in my mind. God is with us and I want you to know He is right here! At our worse and our best…He is always there. I am so grateful for the inspiration in the writing that the Father has continued to provide for this new album! The writing is just flowing and I am looking forward to what God does with all these new songs!

A Few Names

Although I am in the middle of this creation work, I have already uploaded a few of the songs to my ReverbNation profile. Those fans are always the first to learn about my new music! I appreciate the encouragement I receive from them. So far, the titles I have completed are:

WANT TO HEAR THEM NOW? SCROLL DOWN TO LISTEN!

There is something special about these, though. These three songs are actually multi-country collaborations. The drummer is from Pennsylvania and the steel guitar player is from Missouri, here in the United States. I am in Oklahoma, as you know. However, the harmonica player is from the U.K., the bass player is from Spain, and the electric/acoustic guitar player and preliminary mixer is from Austria. Isn’t that cool!?

The Central Focus of the Album

There is something special about knowing that God’s Love is available where ever we go in this world. God loves you. He loves you with a love that never fails, never ends, is always faithful, and lasts beyond eternity! That is, most assuredly, something special to focus on, wouldn’t you agree?

In the first album, I focused on introducing the Love of God to the audience. There is a shift of focus that occurs when we first learn of His love, as a child of His. That shift is what God placed on my heart to communicate through the lyrics of those introduction songs. In this sophmore album, He had me take a step in a bit closer. The lyrics of the new album look at the Love of God through our walk with Him.

I just want to highlight one of the songs, real quick. “Lessons and Love” is a lyric that touches on the fact that we have people around us that leave memorable impressions. They do this through the acts of love they demonstrate and teach us. Even they, though, would not know how to Love were it not for God – for “we love, because He first loved us.”

God is love, after all!

We know that the love of the Father is not bound by anything. It is endless and eternal! I encourage you to let that sink in deep into the very marrow of your bones. That same love that spans the entire universe, is given to you, dear heart. He loves you so very much! I pray that this new album encourages your heart with the knowledge of Him, no matter your circumstances, no matter your past, no matter what you have done or will do. He still loves you. He still calls you His child.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. By this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit. We have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
